Try it again? SciFi TV: Debris 10pm NBC see review

Who's watching?

squatting for space junk

They better pick up the pace with this one...
(I watched a few episodes of Fringe last night. The actors and scripts are excellent, perhaps less so for Debris.)

Debris 10pm NBC
Solar Winds (episode 3)
(New, 3/15/2021)
Bryan and Finola realize new revelations about the planet as they investigate a mysterious square that emerges in a field; Maddox and an old contact meet.

Here's my review of this week's episode:

Bad acting
Bad script
Bad Direction
Bad sets
Bad concepts mashed up
Written by 10 year-olds for 8 year-olds.
That was just plain AWFUL

I saw the first episode. For the life of me, I DON’T understand the current “love affair” with all the various forms of paranormal BS. :

It's hardly current. The X Files goes back to 1993 (27 years ago). This gang are distant relatives of Scully and Mulder.

Main characters are interesting, premise is unusual, special effects are good, I'm enjoying it.

Ukulele music I couldn't find anywhere else.
I’ve added some recipes and spiritual thoughts as well.

Bulletproof is an outstanding show.

I'm still watching. Overall, my impression is positive.

Problems: I thought the latest episode felt pretty disjointed. I still don't like the casting of the male lead.

It will take a lot to get me to stop watching because... it's science fiction. wink smiley

Not impressing me.

Complete spoiler circa 1962:

...And they're positioning her dad as "Walter."

Nothing original. Not even a new take on something old.
