I get my second Pfizer on the 28th.

Piece o' cake.

The injection took all of maybe 1sec.

Barely felt the needle, did not feel the vaccine infusing.

Very slightly sore arm later in the day and the next morning, but stretching the arm cleared that up both times.

No other side effects, other than possibly a little sleepy, but on 3-4hrs sleep/day, that's pretty much SOP.

Some say... The second shot is the deepest most painful.

We'll see.


My routine won't change much, if at all.

Just because I get a new bike helmet doesn't mean I'm going to ride any less safely.

I was just sore for the first one and had a morning headache for the second one. My poor wife suffered much overnight for both but recovered with oatmeal the next morning! Pfizer here.

Still, don't stop wearing a mask nor stop following protocols. Many people think they are "free" now that they've been vaccinated. And there are still people out there who haven't been vaccinated.

Moderna... second shot was about 6 weeks ago. Holy crap, the soreness and "flu like feelings" after the second. Be ready with a heating pad and maybe a bed for the day after. Then you’re fine.

I had planned to stop wearing, at least, my N95s when I went into a building... not anymore, witn the new strains. Really, nothing has changed at all here. I feel a little less endangered... particularly volunteering at vaccination clinics... but not a whole lot. Several of the new strains were found in MA which is too close.

Both Pfizer shots on board here - second was a week ago. Bit of sore arm (like a flu shot) with the first and second - about 20 hours after the second some body aches - took a couple of aspirin and was fine.

Very grateful! Worth all the aggravation trying to schedule.

Moderna club here. Both done, over two weeks ago.

You are all lucky. Our Gov opened up the eligibility for more people to get vaccinated which includes me but any place I look to sign up for shots has the old eligibility requirements posted so it boots me out from even trying.

They opened up for my group, and within the week work was saying they would hold a shot clinic for employees. They previously were authorized to do patients of their clinics/studies. Got mine yesterday. My arm is a little sore but less than last night. A little brain fog, but much like I would have had with an allergy shot.

Dose # 1 of Moderna an hour ago. Have a nice little and mild buzz going due to it, but no real reaction or whatever. And to think, it only took zillions of dollars and man-hours to achieve.

Patiently waiting for my age group (with no health condition) to open up. It's like waiting in line for a lifeboat on the Titanic. The urge to lie and cut the line is very high. Especially when you hear about others doing it successfully.

I got the first Pfizer Feb 9th, and the second shot March 10th. A bit of arm soreness with the first, a night of aches and pains and chills after the second shot, but no arm soreness.

I’m hoping the people I know who are homebound will be able to get vaccinated soon. There seem to be plans to get those folks vaccinated at home with the J&J vaccine. Working through Meals on Wheels lists, among other sources

My first Moderna today bought me about a solid hour's worth of vacation from work and anything else that required sobriety. I looked at the computer screen and just said, "Nope, not interested." LOL. I expected to maybe feel a little sick, not half-lit.

Nurse who jabbed me apologized. Did I flinch? Probably a little, because I'm a wuss. I did properly man up by denying it was not an issue. No soreness, no bruise.

Had my first Moderna dose 16 days ago. Have had some recurrent chills, but I have those sometimes anyway. No other effects.

Looking forward to the second one!

Pfizer #2 next week. The Other is fully cooked with Moderna.

Just booked an appt for the super in my building. Took a bit.

For those having issues booking, there have been FaceBook groups popping up for different states/areas/cities where people are helping others to book and posting tips and info. The NY one was very useful to me.
