Japan hit by tsunami waves after magnitude 7.2 earthquake
Waves of up to 1 meter have hit parts of Japan's coast following a 7.2
magnitude earthquake near the Miyagi prefecture.

It was just 10 years ago the "Fukushima" 9.0 quake struck near the same region.

Here's a guy who is a "rabid" amateur (?) seismology/geology expert. He almost overwhelms you with his knowledge of all things tectonic. You get deluged with geology/seismology/geography information. Dial him in and be prepared to be saturated with his expertise.

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

Now that it appears the Japanese quake was not destructive I feel okay in posting: never attack Miyagi. Miyagi always have correct defense.
