Pre-pandemic I got a refurb TP-Link AC1750 Archer A7 router from
B&H for $28. @ amazon it's $58 new. [www.amazon.com]
Worked fine until I bricked it with DD-WRT firmware!
Decided this weekend to attempt recovery. Find dozens of YT vids on
the subject, too many to watch @ one sitting. So, create a A7 Tutorials
folder on the desktop, fire up ClipGrab download & save them all in said folder.
After watching them all I find a really good one from Richard Lloyd (thanks!). [youtu.be]
(only requires TFTP server)
Ten minutes after watching it, my router is up & running with the latest
factory firmware, woo-hoo!
He also has one on the correct way to install DD-WRT firmware & VPN client setup!
(do I dare attempt it ???)

Like new again...

Glad that worked for you, I have some Archer C7's and have done this in the past to flip between DD-WRT and the factory firmware, but from what I had read at the DD-WRT site, there was no solution or the Amazon specific Archer A7 model. It might have been because there was no updated firmware file at the time.

Just successfully did the DD-WRT flash. Used the latest A7 beta files from
dd-wrt website
