Come on now. How much money do you really need? I don't begrudge anyone their millions or billions. But when you are the richest man in the world four years running and you own a company thats in the news for routinely mistreating there employees, thats pretty much all I need to know.

Almost entirely composed of Tech. Also, most of their net worth is tied up in stocks. They are on the list because their companies are doing well, not because they are flush with cash.

Hmm..Maybe I'll reconsider that marriage offer from Kim Kardashian.

I just scrolled quickly, but I don't believe I saw our former president (I have a hard time even writing that) on that list.

Typically you will own a fractional interest that becomes an asset. You may then charge off depreciation and , of course, the operating expenses which exceed $10K per hour.

Source: Was fixed asset accountant for our corporation, and we owned a fractional % of a jet for our CEO to fly back and forth to the familia's vinyard in Italia. When he left to pursue other interests we sold that very quickly.

I'm probably somewhere in the cube root of a billion range.

I ran across a reference to Michael Bloomberg’s net worth the other day, found this list and my jaw hit the floor. Bezos, king of the hill has a net worth three times that of Bloomberg’s paltry $59,000,000,000 (Leaving the zeroes off numbers like that feels like cheating).

And call me Tinfoil Hat Blankity, but in no way, shape or form do I believe these are actually the wealthiest people in the world. I harbor strong convictions that there are a sizable handful out there sitting on thrones of shell companies and “partnerships”, “joint ventures” and a myriad of other esoteric financial contrivances, with wealth that makes the nest eggs of many on this list look like sofa cushion money.
