I've got Interstellar on the shelf waiting to be viewed, and I only bring it up because I recall a big debate here between that and The Martian.

I grew up watching Mission Impossible on TV. You'll never get me to watch a Tom Cruise MI movie.

I forgot, that was 2015 too? Interstellar was a fine SciFi flick. I liked the reality engineering aspect of The Martian (no new technology was needed for the latter, the former has several 'trust me, this technology will be invented eventually' moments).
