None of the above...
Lurpak, the finest butter in the world (as per the TV ad in the UK in the 1970’s - and absolutely true).

I think the Trader Joe's butter has great flavor and it is inexpensive.
My wife forgets and still buys costco butter which I find has no flavor

Huh.

I think the Costco/Kirkland butter got a few solid votes earlier, and was going to be my choice after the Kerrygold is gone.

Land o' Lakes is the only one available at Safeway (I think) so maybe I'll give that a try, down the road.

However, I'm really happy with Kerrygold.

If I used a lot, I might want to rethink the price, but for now I'm ok with it.

The best butter I had was in Paris.

It was butter with chunks of sea salt.

And with a warm baguette fresh from the corner boulangerie, it replaced my dinner many evenings.

And I question that entire article based on this:

Our testers considered this one “textbook butter” with just the right amount of salt, which is exactly what you’re looking for in baking.

I always use unsalted butter for cooking/baking and add salt to my taste.

Proper Danish butter.
I've seen it at Whole Foods.
If you find it, give it a try.
Your tastebuds will thank you.

Same here plus you can use sea salt. Gawdnoes what form of sodium
the big producers are adding to the 'salted butter' mix.
