iPhone issue

I no longer have a landline but just an iPhone.
I have Military Tricare medical insurance, and in order to refill prescriptions, I need to call in the numbers of the prescriptions.
But before I can do that, I have to tap 1 to select the military site for pickup, then tap 1 again to ask for refills.
That's where the problem begins.
I have already entered two 1's, so when I enter the 12 digit number of the first prescription, it gives me an error message. And the process stalls right there!

Is there a way to delete the first two 1's before entering the first prescription number? Once the first number is accepted, I can enter a # to signal beginning of a new number, but that will not work with those first two 1's.

Surely there are military members here who have figured out how to order refills with a cell phone?????

Is the web interface not available for you?

hm, maybe the google voice App can handle that.

or maybe there is a way to speak the numbers instead of entering on the keyboard.

good luck.

You might try saving the phone number as a contact. After 800-XXX-XXXX put in a comma to pause/delay for a short time. In this case
800-XXX-XXXX,1,1,12 digit number. You can use multiple commas for more of a delay.
To add a pause to a stored number (i.e. in your contacts list), in Address Book you use a comma. When entering a contact number on the iPhone (i.e. in the Contacts app), at the bottom left of the keypad there's a + * # button, tap that, and you'll see a pause button, tap that to add a "comma" or "pause". Each pause is about 2 seconds, to add more time, add more commas.
You can also do this when dialing in number directly from the keypad, and you simply type in the number, and then press and hold the "*" asterisk, and it will become a comma. Don’t forget to do multiple commas so you can get the correct timing.
