Big Sur won't recognize driver in 2nd user account

But works just fine in admin account.

I Installed a driver for a drawing tablet (Huion brand) and it works just fine in my account but can't get it to work on the other user accounts (that don't have admin privileges). Anything obvious?

The driver (extension?) is there, it simply doesn't open.

Are you certain that's the cause, if you enable admin privileges for that user account and make no other changes, does it suddenly start working?

Any chance that there's more to this like some sort of login-item that's also needed, and was only setup for the account that the installer was run from?

so you haven't run the installer within the non admin accounts - I would suggest trying that.

And did rebooting have any impact?

I'll try what hal says. Yup, did reboot, no change. The icon is there, i changed permissions under Security, and it didn't do anything.

Did you reinstall under the std user account? Did you install using the .pkg installer, or did you use the app?

...In the past, their support suggested uninstalling any old drivers and then using the .pkg installer for Big Sur installs.
