My friend has been using Anchor as a host for his podcasts since beginning of the year. From Anchor, the podcasts get posted to Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Apple Podcasts (maybe some others too). His most recent podcast posted this past Sunday has not yet shown up on Apple Podcasts - however, has show up on the other sites like Spotify and Google Podcasts. He said previous podcasts typically posted within a few hours of uploading.


Anyone with podcasting experience this?


He found this article on MacRumors, not sure if this recent update is related to his issues. He did mention that this was the first podcast he tried to post since this update came out. [www.macrumors.com]

Lots of lag posting to Apple lately.

...Since Apple is migrating all podcasts to its more modern publishing system, perhaps the new, improved crawler only crawls the podcasts that are in this system? In that scenario, the podcasts that have not yet migrated would still use the old, slow crawler. The result: long delays for listeners.
