Couldn't send better half a picture of her Vaccination Card

She was at a meeting, that required her card. And she forgot it. I took a picture with iPhone 12 and sent via text, failed. Try again, no help. So I tried email, no help.

I am sure she is receiving text, etc, maybe she is in a bad spot, but she walked outside, and had same problem.

I am asking this without all of the facts... but when she gets home I will see if we can do it in the same room.

Does she have an iPhone?
Was it going via iMessage? If so, does it say "delivered" on your phone?

One or both of you need to restart your iPhone. Wife has the same issues sometimes. She doesn’t regularly restart phone.

Yes both iPhones. New 12's. Will trouble shoot upon her arrival home.

So I tried email, no help.

I am curious why this didn't work. I do understand that iMessages or Text may fail, but emails should work, right?

Some other ideas to try (if this happens again in the future):

Facetime and show the card to the camera and let her screen capture it.

Send a link to the photos in iCloud, or put them in Dropbox, Google Photos, etc. (When you select the photos, you can click "Options" at the top of the next window to choose an iCloud link).

Can you successfully send messages to one another via Messages?

If so, you can send photos and documents too.

WhatsApp is another option.

Sounds like a hard restart is in order for both phones. I seem to have to do that once every few weeks.

Don't have an iPhone (Android) but the process should be the same. I made a PDF of the vaccination Card (both sides) and copied the file to my phone. Produce it as needed.

Or do the same and keep it in the cloud and produce as needed.
