Magnetic iPhone holder for my car

I have the iPhone 12 ProMax . My car is a 15year old Lexus with a 15 year old magnet that the original owner probably affixed, and it isn't strong enough to hold my phone. Is there a phone /car magnet plenty strong enough to hold the 12 ProMax?

I don't have a magnetic 0ne, but mine does have wireless charging and is easy to place the phone in the holder and remove it. I bought it at Target.

iOttie does have a magnetic wireless holder, I just noticed:

But it's out of stock.

That particular iOttie may be discontinued but some MicroCenters have
it on clearance for $26 in-store.

edit: Only the Columbus, OH location has it!

I've used iotties for a while now. I love their clamp version. I have one that locks into my CD player slot. I've tried magnetic ones and they just never hold the phone well enough.

I switched from magnetic holders to a wireless charger self clamping system in all our vehicles. I prefer it. Get the one that has a little battery or capacitor in it so you can get your phone out when you turn off the car. I keep forgetting....

I've got the ESR HaloLock magnetic charging holder that uses a vent clip.

It works well in my car's vent.

It charges at 7.5W (QI speed) but one could connect a Lightning cable directly to the phone if faster charging were required.

I don't think Apple has yet allowed an MFi license for a mobile charger for the 12 line.

I went that route, too, but the damn batteries don't last more than a couple of weeks, and it's a PITA to keep swapping eneloops.... so slowly, but surely retraining self to remove phone before turning car off. Would love idea of self-charging capacitor, or rechargeable batteries via auto's usb, but ours does not connect usb input w/ battery bay. Our 20+ y.o. Lexus is still going strong, but only now approaching 65K miles, and (sadly) no iP12Max to play with.

Rammie's mag clip looks perfect, if it would work in your car (vent clips can go from awesome, to no-way, depending on fitment). It's what I'd go for in our Sienna van, if only (again) for want of an iP12Max. Good luck.... though I might be able to talk Baby Buzz into swapping his two and half week old iP12mini for your iP12Max.... ya know, in the hopes that your old magnet can hold up the lighter mini (and since he's not happy with the mini's battery life compared w/ iPXs he traded in for it...).
