Memorial Day is Monday. This is traditionally a 'big weekend.'

We are having friends over for a BBQ saturday and I suspect the kids will jump in the pool. The air temp is a little cool but the pool is heated to 88 degrees.

Headed off to the cabin with some friends for the weekend tomorrow. Forecast is lousy, however, so our enthusiasm for outdoor stuff may be somewhat curbed.

Friends coming over tomorrow night. Then to other friend's house on Sunday night. Then Monday the annual Memorial Day golf tournament and burgers and stuff. A full weekend but we won't be more than 5 miles from the house at any point.

Hot, sweaty EDM dance party with 10,000 people in an airplane hangar and then bob for apples with the Biogen office crew. Working on my immunity.

We have a freeze watch tonight with 60’s going into the weekend but 70 on Monday. I’ll probably do some work on my mower (oil change, new blades) and my snowblower could also use an oil change and some other work. Nothing exciting.

Hiking one day, my other half's birthday cookout at his BIL's, and paddling on Monday. Weather is not supposed to be nice, so it’s mostly maybes,,,

No swimming pool... so staying inside with the AC. =)

Roseville - Yikes! Is that a bit warm for May, even in the Central Valley?

Tomorrow old friends having us over for BBQ to celebrate my wife's birthday. Saturday daughter is coming from the west side of WA for the weekend. 21 yo son might be around, might not, never know. We're all vaxed, friends too, so we'll be unmasked outdoors. Looking forward to that!

Going to see if I can find a last minute cancelation somewhere on a camp site close by. If not, probably just stay home and catch up on the endless house projects.

Neighbor mentioned the other day that he saw birds going in and out our bathroom exhaust vent. I'd also noticed the mirror fogging up after a shower....that one is going to be fun. Already have some screen to install after I clean it out.

The forecast here is for 30F for tomorrow night. Saturday might hit 70F for the first time this year.

Yes, its unseasonably warm. Avg for may is low/mid 80s. Seems a tho we always get a little hot streak right before June to remind us summer is coming.... but 108 is just silly. Prob break all kinds of records with 3 days in row.

Saturday I’m being dragged, almost literally, to a Jack and Jill shower.
Sunday having a cookout with cousins, etc at my house.
Monday my wife wants to check out a rhododendron display/show at at a famous museum and gardens facility.
