"The remote is nice, the fan is a little on the small side, but the real value is the two extra speeds, one probably very low, and the other maybe very fast.
The compound low speed is great for leaving the fan on all night and not waking up chilled."
Don't let the small side/size fool you... on its highest setting, it puts out a considerable amount of air..... and it's amazingly quiet at all speeds. It has a "natural breeze" function, which is its way of saying it randomizes its oscillation patterns to more accurately reflect what ma nature throws our way.
My "all night" fan has been an Ozeri Brezza III w/ remote that also does the two way oscillation thing, but doesn't have the rando breeze mode. It's quiet on its two lowest modes, but then it starts getting pretty loud at settings three and four. I almost bought a Woozoo at BB&B when the old Ozeri started (loudly) munching its oscillation gears. Thankfully, and much to my surprise (and glee), Ozeri replaced it (after I played the crunching over the phone), and that current unit has been much better (quieter/no munching) overall. In the meantime, BB&B stopped carrying Woozoo's, and now the in-store Costco deal totally kicks butt.
BTW, we also have a big honkin' Vornado 660 in the bedroom to move some air around; its lowest couple of speeds are silent, and create a nice low level breeze across the bedroom as a nice compliment to the Ozeri. Time will tell when/whether one of the new Woozoo's will replace the Ozeri.... read that to mean, I've long since painted nail polish over the Ozeri's LED status lights to dim them, and the Woozoo's LED's are noticeably brighter than the Ozeri's, so it'll take at least three coats of nail polish (to the current Ozeri's two, vs. the original Ozeri's three) to satisfactorily dim them.
Good luck w/ the hunt; sign said sale good thru Friday, 6/4/21.
Here's from Mother's Day promo, Memorial Day in-store promo is same pricing.
and yes, their subtle marketing maybe isn't all that subtle after all.
