ACC Men's Basketball won't be the same...

...and for that matter, all of men's college basketball won't be either.
First, Roy Williams retires from NC Tar Heels; now Coach K, Mike Krzyzewski
has announced he will retire as Duke's coach after the '21-'22 season.

In any walk of life, it shouldn’t be a surprise when someone who is 74
and has been in the same job for nearly four decades decides it is time,
at last, to move on into a well-earned retirement.

Overall college head coach record: 1,170–361; the all-time winningest
coach in college basketball history at any level (men's or women's).

"In college basketball, there is only one Darth Vader and his name is Mike Krzyzewski.
He is the thing that everyone has been trying to stop."
- FOX Sports’ Tate Frazier

The all time best and seems to be a pretty decent guy, too.

Enjoy your retirement Coach K!

Any number of fans in Kentucky that are delighted at the news.

Guess it is fair to say that he made fans miserable all over the country.

What a legacy he leaves (and Roy Williams too).

Truly an end of an era. Coach K is an inspiration and will leave a legacy hard to beat.

When he passed his mentor (Coach Knight) in wins by using a positive coaching attitude, he didn’t just change basketball but newly all sports in the globe.

Coach K had a really hard time during COVID as he felt the players shouldn’t be playing, and his heart wasn’t in it.

I hope he can end his career on a positive note.
