Librarian Pro looks a LOT like Delicious Library...

It is what it is.

Bernie,

Thanks! Perfect timing. A couple of the apps will come in handy. Hadn't planned to buy them until I saw them at a discount. Elmedia Player is actually a solid app. Can even run Flash games if that's of interest to anyone.

Toast, on the other hand, I use surprisingly often. Nice to have the most current flavor. A friend who doesn't have Toast asked me to do a job for him with it. Just sent the info for the bundle to him so he can get his own copy on the cheap. Coolness!

Robert

Sort of.

It looks like one is buying one version of the app, and there are no free upgrades, and likely no upgrade pricing.

I haven't checked, but if all of these are the most current and compatible up to and with Big Sur and maybe Monterey, then maybe that'll do until Bundlehunt 2022.

I'm a fan of Delicious Library and — YIKES! — I just checked the App Store and it's $39.00!

I had DL1 and maybe DL 2, and for some reason thought that it was no more.

If Librarian Pro uses the DL barcode scanner, I'd be OK with that.

If not I'll have to pony up $39.

Delicious Library Triva:

At a MWSF, Delicious Monster Software had three Booth Babes dressed as 'sexy librarians' — nice hair, black glasses, spiky heels, taut black skirt, and simple white blouse revealing noticeable cleavage.

One of the PYTs went on to be some rep for a company big in the tech world, and thus interviewed on one of the TWiT shows.

She revealed that years ago, she was one of the PYTs, and that she was 15yo at the time.

YIKES!

I still have use for Toast, so this worked. Now I'll have to get a DVD burner as the Mrs. needs them for school.

I used to use DL too. And I also thought it had gone away. I quit using it when I digitized my video library. Now Plex is basically my DL.
