Most of us are certainly old enough to have listened to this when we were kids.

I remember listening to this show. And recording it onto cassettes!

My favorite was a KISS concert on the Lick It up tour, with Vinnie Vincent on Guitars.

“Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." - Eli Weisel

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"I don’t want to see religious bigotry in any form. It would disturb me if there was a wedding between the religious fundamentalists and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it." - Billy Graham 1981

I got an import from Japan: King Biscuit Flower Hour Pink Floyd 1987 Momentary Lapse of Reason - 2 CD. More raw than the Live CD put out in the US. It's great.

Could be seen informally identified both ways back in the '70s by people. The original name was inspired by the radio show King Biscuit Time which had been financed by King Biscuit Flour. But the show creators for King Biscuit Flower Hour specifically named it "Flower" to associate with "flower power".

And maybe to avoid trademark infringement action by Interstate Grocer Company?

I’m sure it’d be a favorite of mine too.
There’s also a Dixie Dregs concert @the YT link that I’ve set my ears on.
Great thread, thanks everyone!

Heh! Funny!

How about this? When Hall and Oates first started getting radio play, I thought the name of the group was Haulin' Oats! confused smiley

Cool. One of the first bootleg CDs I ever picked up was a Boston KBFH performance from Philly in 1976 (obviously the CD was from a much-later 90's re-broadcast).

I'm older than that.

I had a friend send me some 7" reel to reel tapes of the show when I was in country.

They got a lot of play.

Maybe you were listening to the cooking show.
