.....Nicholas Cage.....in a 'funhouse' with killer animatronics....he doesn't utter a single line of dialogue for the entire movie....


.....he plays a no name drifter whose car breaks down in small town....expensive to fix car.....owner of 'Willy's Wonderland' agrees to pay for repairs if he works as night manager and stays in 'Willy's Wonderland' for one night [ the place needs a human sacrifices ].....group of six kids try to burn the place down......


......the entire movie is Nic cleaning up the place and then beating down possessed animatronics that try to kill him [ he goes all 'Nicholas Cage' on their asses - he kills one with a toilet plunger ] and the place killing the six kids....he also produced the movie.......


.....When his car breaks down, a quiet loner agrees to clean an abandoned family fun center in exchange for repairs. He soon finds himself waging war against possessed animatronic mascots while trapped inside Willy's Wonderland......

Nicholas Cage stars in plenty of movies, but I can’t remember one I wanted to see

I kind of enjoyed 'Ghost Rider' (maybe it was the title theme song), and 'National Treasure' and 'Kick Ass' (1 and 2). But that's just me.

Cage has made a joke of his name in the last 15-20 years making lots of garbage movies, but the reason we all know who he is is because he was a GREAT actor in several great movies once upon a time.

If you haven't seen these movies, you have been negligent:

Valley Girl
Rumble Fish
The Cotton Club
Peggy Sue got Married
Raising Arizona
Moonstruck
Red Rock West
Leaving Las Vegas
Adaptation

there are others that some might include, but this list alone would put anyone in the Hall of Fame.

....he has a tax bill to pay, so has been churning out movies......mostly direct to video movies.....for years now.....


.....same with Bruce Willis [ not sure why Bruce is doing it ].....he making many movies just for the paycheck......worse with Willis is many have him 'featured' and he will appear for a few minutes or 2 times in the movie and then disappears......it seems like he is just trying to crank out as many movies as he can for the pay day......

I watch a lot of his 'garbage' movies because- well, he's Nic Cage.

I've always hoped that one day somebody would cast him in a great movie that brings him back to an A-List of actors, again, because I've always thought he was a great actor.

Recently, I ran across It Could Happen to You and enjoyed it, even though it's not really a great movie, it was Nic Cage.

And it reminded me how much I don't like Rosie Perez, though she was OK in The Flight Attendant, a really good series.

I don't know if Cage makes these movies because he wants to act and no big name studio will touch him, or he's desperate for money.

In my mind, he never stopped being a great actor, he just stopped making great movies.

Make Nic Cage great again!

I liked him in Con Air, another not great Nic Cage movie, with many scenes stolen by Steve Buscemi.

Aside from Cage's horrific accent affected, I really liked the movie.

I've still got Moonstruck and Raising Arizona, two great movies.

I'll check out some more from his A list, but I still enjoy his 'later work'.

I liked Con Air as a guilty pleasure. I liked It could Happen to you too - Rosie Perez may play some unlikable characters, but she was so damn good in that movie.
