who's you fave?

oh I know we've done this before.
desert island discs or the like.

say you could be on any island out of the path of hurricanes and had an awesome $50000 home "hi-fi" to listen to your fave grooves on, endless supplies of adult bevs or other mind altering concoctions and your fave date.

name you 5 faves, or 10 if you like, but lets try to keep it to under 15000 per person.
For the purposes of this list, Beethoven is not the artist.
Herbert von Karajan & the Berlin Philharmonic is.

Miles
Stones
Coltrane
JB
Neko Case

Bob Marley - Legend

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

Neil Young - Weld

Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense Live

Louie Prima - Greatest Hits

Have many more, of course! These are just some great ones I like from the top of my head.

That is a lot of money to spend to only be able to listen to five albums.

1- I
2- don't
3- Ever
4- answer
5- questions
6- that
7- can
8- be
9- used
10- as
11- security
12- validation

Of course I also completely avoid any question that has the word "favorite" in it because my favorites change as the wind blows. And as my memory evaporates.

Prohibiting composers is extremely limiting (essentially eliminates any classical or early music); nonetheless, in no particular order:

- Dave Brubeck
- Led Zeppelin
- The Moody Blues
- Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66
- Jethro Tull
- ELP
- ELO
- Infected Mushroom
- Shadowfax
- Tool
- Be-Bop Deluxe
