EKG sensor glue

Okay, it's been over a week now since I had a bunch of these done, and I've still got some of that cursed glue on my chest.

Any way to get this junk off?

Soap and let it sit there.

Otherwise you could try rubbing alcohol.

Dumb question, but here goes. Are you sure it is glue, or is it a reaction you have to the glue that raises welts? I ask because it does that to me and it’s easy to mistake the raised spot for glue.

If it's really the glue, a second vote for Goo Gone, or if you don't care for the GG scent, mineral oil/mineral spirits.

I've had to pull a thousand of them.

Nothing works so well as hand-sanitizer. The alcohol and glycerine dissolve and lubricate. The pads come off nearly instantly -- and painlessly -- and the glue just dissolves.

And, we should all have plenty of that right now.

WD-40 is good at removing adhesives.

We complain when glue is too weak.

We complain when glue is too strong.

We never seem to get this right.
