My children's favorite parrot related joke:

A man entered a pet shop and noticed a rather large parrot with a sign "Marked down for immediate sale, no returns !", with a very low price. He asked the shopkeeper about the bird.

"Little booger keeps getting returned. He was owned by a drunken sailor, and has a bit of a problem with his language. I'll GIVE him to you !"

The man purchased the parrot, a perch, some food, and toys, and took the parrot home. All was well for a few days, the parrot was getting used to his new home, flapping around and marching about.

And right about dinner time, the parrot popped up in the man's face and screamed "Give me a F***ing cracker you son of a B**** " ! The man was astonished. He admonished the parrot, who ignored him and continued with his horrible language. Finally, the man said "ENOUGH !" and put the parrot into the freezer, and closed the door.

A few minutes later, he opened the door to find the parrot shivering saying "I'll be good, I'll be good !". After he had warmed up the parrot flapped up to the man and said

"Pardon me sir, but... What did the chicken do ? "
