A few days ago I posted my first impressions of iWeb, part of iLife '06.

One of my major complaints is that you can ONLY work on ONE website at a time (no File>Open or File>Save as). You delete what you have already done or create a new sub site within your document and delete the other parts you don't want.
I told my buddy and CompUSA Apple Rep about my Gripe as he does do reports from the field back to Apple. He called one of his salesman over who is the resident mac geek and asked him about it.
Together we figured out a workaround.
iWeb saves the website document as follows:
User>Library>Application Support>iWeb>
in which there is a file called Domain which is you iWeb website.
What I did was create several folders in my Documents Folder relating to the various sites I want to create in iWeb:
Documents>iWeb>Blog
Documents>iWeb>Domain
Documents>iWenb>User Group Site
I simply drag the Domain file
FOR STORAGE from:
User>Library>Application Support>iWeb>
to their respective folder for safe keeping (so you don't over write it).
When I wan to open that particular site, I "Back-up" the site I last worked on using the method above, and replace it with the one I want to open in the:
User>Library>Application Support>iWeb>
This is a pain in the arse, but it works if you want to use iWeb to work on more than one website. I hope Apple fixes this in the next update.
Also I read somewhere you can get around the iLife G4 install requirements and put it on a G3 by Installing via Target Disk Mode from a G4 based Mac.
I will try and install it on my G3 iBook soon and report back.
