I have a google workspace - its a legacy setup, I got it for free back when it was Google Apps or GSuite or whatever. Anyway, I'd like to let my wife add and remove events from my calendar. The org permissions are correct but the option doesn't offer itself when I add her to the calendar OR when I go to change her privileges. I suspect that they consider this 'works as intended' at least until I give them money.

Has anyone else seen this?

It should be very straightforward... I've added other (gmail/google accounts) to have edit capabilities of my calendar before... though it's been a long while since I did, so, things may have changed.

That is an Organization Admin setting.

Log in to admin.google.com with your OA account and then go to Apps: Google Workspace Core Apps: Settings for Calendar: Sharing Settings and then change the setting to: Share all information, and outsiders can change calendars
