UPS shipping wonkiness - should I be worried?

So - I ordered something from Bezosville yesterday, and got notification that it shipped today.

Looking up the tracking number at UPS results in this:

I assume it'll arrive at my doorstep this week - but if it doesn't, should I be concerned that there's "proof" it was already delivered (nearly four months ago, before I even ordered the thing)?

DF,

Makes me think it might be UPS Mail Innovations where they're partnering with the USPS. UPS brings the items to the USPS, which completes the final leg of the delivery. Despise it since USPS has a habit of marking things delivered upon receipt and then taking X number of days after that date to actually bring it to my door.

Well, at least you have proof. Unless they deny you based on some type of space time continuum technicality. I wonder what we would have said if you'd posted this 4 months ago. Wait, maybe you did. Have you searched the forum?

Well - let's just say that Bezosville does sell the required part for when that happens...

"Authenticity Provided By Seller
Entertainment Franchise STAR WARS"

I don't think I'd trust a "signed" flux capacitor authenticated by a seller who thinks it comes from Star Wars.

Is the item you ordered being fulfilled by Amazon or a third party?

It seems to me like you just got the wrong tracking number. Although UPS does recycle tracking numbers, but usually after 6+ months, I believe so that the old tracking data wouldn't show up anymore.

just checked - listing at Bezosville says sold & shipped by Amazon.
the tracking # is definitely in UPS's system currently - that's where the screenshot came from
