Oh goodie! This means I can dust off my skinny scarves and embellished double denim, platform shoes and animal prints.

Bell bottoms rule!

You'd be surprised at how popular they are with young folks.

Here in Sacramento, we have a radio station - KYDS - that's run by students at a high school, and they play quite a bit of Abba.

When I think of Abba, I think of my stuffy, conservative uncle that tried to convince us (the Californian branch of the family) that he was cool. He told us that he likes Abba - and we all burst out laughing. He looked so hurt and confused.

Their music is catchy and upbeat. It has broad appeal.

Yes, I have seen both Mama Mias, and my partner has ABBA in her truck. She also has Ozzy, AC/DC, and Black Sabbath.

She liked John Wick, and the F&F series. Complex woman.

In my A/C radio days on the 70s-80s we played a ton of ABBA. I kinda liked Waterloo, but not a big fan overall. But my favorite recollection was the ("older, experienced") morning drive guy who used to do characters as part of his show. Anyway, I vividly recall his cueing up an LP of theirs and announcing "and now here's a new one from the ABBA Arrival group."

Concert tickets for a band that doesn’t show up. Think I’m busy that day.

I've never cared for Abba, no like, no dislike, I just never enjoyed their music.

Just a few days ago, my girlfriend showed me a clip from Mamma Mia (a movie I probably will never see) of Cher descending a staircase (LOL!) while singing to Andy Garcia.

She was really terrific, and I had no idea that she was 71 at the time.

Wow.

Just WOW.

I never liked Fernando, or any other Abba song, but I couldn't turn away, she is amazing.

PSFW but others may disagree.

their music is very catchy and mostly annoying to me.
but I spent a lot of time with pop like that during the late 70s and early 80s due to gigs.
Still, I do really like Waterloo. A little Phil Spector and kind of pre-Blondie and others.
