Movie: A Little Chaos with Kate Winslet - excellent and Allan Rickman directed it! Period piece but about landscaping.

Mare of Eastown - Kate Winslet again - awesome story line didn't expect the way it turned out.

The Queen's Gambit - WOW Dudley got lucky!!!! (Harry Potter Dudley) Great storyline and acting. Reading the book now. Lots of interesting actors in it.

Did they really tranq kids like that back then??

I REALLY liked the “Queen’s Gambit series!

Yes, many kids (especially those in “homes” orphanages etc) we’re “chemically controlled”.

I know you said "roku" -- which isn't streaming service perse -- and those are on different networks, correct?

Or is there a roku app that recommends things? Ive yet to see it on my roku based TV, but perhaps I missed it.

The Roku that the library lends out has Netflicks, HBOMax and Disney+ available on it. Tho, with the exception of Disney, there’s still a lot of B movies to wade thru to find the gems. I am not into horror movies and there seems to be a lot of them.
