I so wanted a Sinclair back in the day. Ended up with a Vic20 instead.

Almost the same! I played with the Sinclair at the Hudson's store while my then wife did her shopping (better than holding her purse being bored out of my skull!). I almost bought one, but went with an Atari 400 instead.

R.I.P. Sir Clive Sinclair. You made many people happy with your inventions.

Me too!
I got it out of the closet maybe 20 years ago, and discovered that the keyboard/pad no longer worked (except for a few keys). It was sad to see it go...
