DS9 had the most complete story arc from start to finish.

Voyager had the most likeable and relatable characters.
Flawed, but likeable (except for Seska).

I vote for Voyager for "most improved from crap beginning to decent end"...

Overall, DS9, but it only beats Next Generation because of a few outstanding episodes in an overall just as strong series.
"Trials and Tribble-ations" and "In the Pale Moonlight" among the gems.

"Cut down before it's prime" was Enterprise. Once they ended the moronic "temporal cold war" arc, I thought Enterprise was finally on a path to what it should have been, and to greatness. Sadly, it was not allowed to reach that.

You should have The Orville as a choice...

I like STD. I mean, ST;Discovery. At least through Season 2, have not seen 3 yet. It's a different animal, really--it's all long arcs, which is the fashion of our current time. All the ones in the list above were in the days of stand-alone episodes. DS9 had it's arcs, but still had many one-offs even within the arcs. I won't commit to where Discovery stands in the great scheme, you can't really know for sure where any series stands until it completes it run. (Game of Thrones, anyone?)

I watched one episode of Picard. Old man running up stairs was just...sad. I wish they'd done this when Stewart was five or ten years younger. I'll eventually give a proper go, that's just first impression.

Never finished DS9, so I'm the outlier. I made it through the initial seasons, but my personal life got busy enough that I had other uses for my time. My son is trying to watch DS9, but I've declined to join him.

Enterprise - I never made it through the first season.

By contrast, I have enjoyed the recent re-boots to watch them to date.

Both DS9 and Enterprise got better after you stopped watching.
Not saying there's a causation there...
Of the two, if you decide to give one another shot - make it DS9.
Just start in Season 3 or 4.

I forgot about The Orville - that was a cool show.

I used to watch most (after the Original series) first run. I remember my girlfriend at the time watching The Next Generation with me and analyzing all the characters - she really got into it.

Seems that the only one i can watch now in rerun is The Original series on occasion, not sure why but seems like the others need to be binged or watched as a few episodes in a row to "feel" it. Some don't "stand on their own".

My vote was split between TOS and TNG, but I guess TNG gets my vote.

DS9>TOS>TNG> rest of the crap

Still waiting for Captain Worf!!!

I've never understood why people like DS9 so much. It's just downright dreary ... that's not to say that there aren't some excellent episodes there, and fantastic characterization, but overall I find it kind of depressing.

Voyager and Enterprise, on the other hand, I think are both underrated. There are some truly standout episodes of both shows that I really like, and Enterprise's finale and cancellation after the fourth season were criminal-- it was just finally hitting its stride, and it would have been cool to see what a fifth season would have looked like.

We like TNG. We tried to watch DS9 but about 1/4 way into the series just lost interest. We still watch reruns of TNG. I would rewatch TOS if my wife could get into it, she prefers TNG.
