Lisa Stansfield well received "Live at the Apollo" Throwback

The audience was really diggin' her. Showing her so much love. Gave me a bit of a chill when they chanted "Go Lisa!"

worked "Showtime" for many years.
Always a receptive audience if the act was strong.
Al Green baked the house within a bar of music.
Even Mick Hucknall did pretty well for a poser.

I resented that extra chorus, but great energy on the stage leads to this kinda stuff…

Wonder if you put a strong vocalist like Adelle with funky band on the right song - could she rock the crowd like that?
