That is some impressive gator wrangling, and nobody got hurt. Just a very annoyed gator.

We really need to see the after video. How did they deal with that gator in the bin? did they shoot it while it was in there? did they take the whole bin somewhere and release the gator?

I just saw this. Pretty insane!

San Antonio, TX (in the old city)

"All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
“Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." - Eli Weisel

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"I don’t want to see religious bigotry in any form. It would disturb me if there was a wedding between the religious fundamentalists and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it." - Billy Graham 1981

"Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise" - Barry Goldwater

Philadelphia man, actually. He released it into a lake.

Here's a more informative article than Fox:

I almost feel sorry for the gator.

Almost.

Also wondering why it didn't just go around the trash bin to attack. Or just run away.

They are really quite docile, and are not much of a threat. Very, very occasionally they eat someone, but considering how often they could, it's nothing. We used to swim with them in the lakes and rivers near Ocala. They never bothered us. We harassed them a bit, and they were just defensive, never lunged or anything, so we lost interest. I worry they can't co-exist, with the population exploding down there.

I know that the gator saw the guy as a threat more than the bin that was attacking him.

And if the gator tried to go around, the guy would have just moved the bin.

Catch and release is good.

Those were my thoughts too

What happened AFTER?
