Sox escaped on two plays. The out from catcher to second wasn't an out. Hunter Renfroe looked like a reincarnation of Jose Canceco playing center, imagine going from Mookie to that level of fielder.

Sox got lucky but we'll take it.

I thought the play at second was safe, too, but they didn't overrule the call on the field.

And that call on Renfroe bouncing the ball into the bullpen was just a ground rule double, if slightly footnoted, apparently. (And, come on, he's no golden glove prospect, but at least he can get out of his own way.)

But you do have Kiké and Verdugo. Certified badboys in return.

Wow that's a crazy play. I know they're mad in Tampa.

The 2nd base out was a bad call, that was a potential game-changer. Who knows what could have taken place with a runner on second and an additional out.

The outfield was called correctly - ground-rule double.

The other bad decision was not calling interference when Arozirena was tripped between first and second. He would have easily made third and should have been advanced (which is the umpire's prerogative).

But, I am not a fan of instant replay in sports, let the call on the field stand. It is one of the things that makes the game fun.
