i have a "new" used emac 1.42. the everymac site states that 184 pin pc2700 (333mhz) ddr sdram fits this machine [www.everymac.com]

but there is a sale on mushkin 512MB 184-Pin DDR PC3200 SDRAM Desktop Memory.

will the faster pc3200 mushkin ram work as it should in the emac 1.42?

thanks in advance for any info u care to share

be well

i'm surprised there has not been any opinions on my query.

perhaps i asked the question in a confusing manner.

i'll try again:

my "new" old emac 1.42 was designed to have 184 pin pc2700 (333mhz) ddr sdram.

what would happen if i put in a 184 pin pc3200 ddr ram stick?

would the faster ram work in the emac?

thanks in advance for any info.

be well
