Dodgers were lucky to win those 2 games. Let Dusty win a couple of games.

If the Sox weren't going to the show, the Dodgers shouldn't have either. Selfish, I know.

The Sox didn’t win 106 games during the regular season.

Too bad we missed the Dramatic "Dodgers get back at Cheating Astros" headline. The Astros were a good team, probably did not need to cheat. Their title SHOULD have been vacated.

The Braves are a really good team. 3rd time in a row to the NL Championships. Lost to the Dodgers in 7 last year.

The Astros have been a under a microscope these last two years and still made it back to the Series.

I predict Astros in 7.

I predict Astros in 7

Keep us posted. The three interested people outside Texas and Georgia will want to know.

I can tell you specifically which games and which pitches they stole from the Dodgers. They would have lost.

I'm thinking Astros in 5. I hope the Braves beat 'em though.

They were both wild card teams. But also 92 wins is nothing to dismiss, either.

My Braves-fan wife was REALLY happy.

Unfortunately the Braves haven't had a great World Series record. They've won the NL pennant 18 times but the World Series only 3 times, once in each city they've played in.

The Dodgers had the second best record in the regular season (106-56), trailing the team with the best record (the Giants, 107-55) by just one game. They would have been the division winner in any other division by a margin of at least seven games, depending on the division. They ended the season 14 games ahead of the Red Sox.

Whether or not the Dodgers made it to the Series had NOTHING to do with whether the Sox did or did not make it.

Are they in different leagues or something? Who'da thunk it?

This was an exciting NLCS, that's for sure. I was happy the Braves won it at home last night instead of Game 5 in LA. I had several friends who were at the game, and I'll be looking for tickets for next weekend's games. I haven't been to a World Series game since the early 90s version of the Braves, and I was in St. Louis when they won it all in 1995 (watching the game with a guy from Cleveland).

Been a crazy run, hope they can keep it up in the Series.

I'm only about a mile from the ballpark, but with nosebleed seats starting at $150 (if you can get them, and you probably can't), I think we'll be taking in the crowd noise from the deck...

A nosebleed seat at a World Series game is still a seat at a World Series game.

Our tickets to Game 1 of the 1975 World Series were pretty deep in the right field seating section at Fenway... but for the rest of my life I've been able to say I attended Game 1 of the 1975 World Series.

(Besides, I was just a ten year old boy -- what did I know about nosebleed seats?)

I looked for tickets in the pre-sale this morning. The most nosebleed seats for $390.

Yeah, there you are. I'd love to go, but I wouldn't well-over-$800-with-Ticketbastard-fees want to go (because if I went without my wife I'd be out one wife).
