The new drummer and the bass player really helped those guys out. Probably the best Stones concert I've ever seen. Jagger is in incredible shape. And funny as hell.

That's just crazy. When I saw them in 1989 I literally said out loud, "This is nuts. These guys are as old as my parents."

I've seen a few bits of video - I thought these guys were too old to play 20 years ago, but I have to admit that Mick looks great for his age and his singing is every bit as good (or bad depending on how you look at it) as it was 30 years ago.

Keith still looks like a walking corpse...

I've written this before here, but seeing the Sticky Fingers dvd from their 2015 show, I was blown away at how good they were. Watts, especially, btw. Even Keef played a bit instead of just mugging.

I saw them in Dallas three weeks before Altamont. I consider that their peak.

Saw them in Cali circa 2017. Richards came out mid-show and did some solo stuff while the others were taking a break.

He lights a cigarette and says to the crowd “How you doing? Yeah? Well, I’m glad to be here tonight”.

Then he takes a big drag from the cig and says, “Of course, I’m glad to be anywhere these days”.

.....you sure not hallucination.....???

That's too bad, it was one of my favorite Stone's songs, but I understand why they would.

I was just discussing with a friend, that I really don't pay any attention to lyrics except in rare occasions, and ignore them in Brown Sugar.

Same with Stray Cat Blues.

I just enjoy the music.
