My system setup has been working nicely. Last week, when I hit the Harmony one for the TV, the sounder will come on, but it is ECHOeyyy, and plays just thru the rear speakers I think.

Taking the Vizio remote and turning off and on fixes the problem.

I haven't changed anything on the Harmony One setup. do you think that is the problem

I will be going to Vizio site and see if my serial number has a firmware update for the Soundbar first.

Than check settings on Harmony one, or search for an answer, to which this point, haven't found a similar problem with answer. using PCM out with an optical cable from TV to Soundbar.

Good luck with that. Lack of support is why I've blacklisted Vizio.
Their solution to flaky TV firmware was telling me "buy new TV"!
