Trying to recover my network password

The Post-It on my monitor fell off.

AirPort Utility shows my Wireless password is saved in Keychain access.

Keychain access shows several passwords for various kit.

Clicking on my Base Station Extreme, I get the Attributes window with the Show Password box and ticking it gets me a second window that requires my computer password, and ultimately I get it the AEBS password shown in the Attributes window.

And it apparently is not my Wireless password, though I thought it was.

Repeating the above process for various bits of kit gets me the second window, and again their respective passwords.

But if I click on AESB._afpovertcp._tcp.local [Kind: network password] the Attributes window with Show password appears but not that second window that allows me to see the resulting password in the first window.

When trying to install a new device, it keeps showing Incorrect Password.

Where can I find my WiFi/Wireless/Network password?

Search Keychain Access (search-field in the upper-right of the window) for the name of the network.

If you have multiple entries, sort by date and select the most recent one.

Or reset your base station and give it a really hard password you’ll never remember. Like your first and last name. In a few months you’ll still have forgotten your password.
