Christmas music already: boo

In a previous thread I mentioned how I like a new local radio station that plays "easy favorites" and I was hearing a lot of music I hadn't heard in a long time.

So much for that. As of midnight on Nov. 1, they switched to all Christmas music. It's too early. spamsign

Yep. After TG is fine with me. Maybe even a few the week of TG - I make an exception for Harry Connick holiday music then. But no. Not this early!

I’m a little miffed they are reassigning the Sinatra channel to one of the Christmas channels this year.

Maybe they will just play Sinatra Christmas tunes?

Our 2 stations still haven't flipped, I'm guessing they will flip on the 15th, that seems to be the trend the past few years. They tried for a year or two flipping on the 1st of November, but then went back to the middle of the month.

I'm with the naysayers, Christmas music at the earliest on or right after Thanksgiving. Better yet, two weeks before the jolly old elf makes his appearance. But then keep the music until at least January 1st, if not the 6th (Feast of the Epiphany). Our stations here usually flip the day after Christmas.
