I’m prepping a Monterey bootable installer using an old DataTraveler 2.0.
It’s going slow… data written at less than 5mb/s.
Besides asking if this is normal, I’m wondering if airdropping the installer from my machine to another would be ok.

So I pulled the drive, reformatted and trying again.
If I don’t see speeds similar to the theoretical 50 megabytes per second, I’ll try airdrop.
If it doesn’t work, I’ll DL again straight to the computer.
