I enjoyed it. It's got a laid-back vibe that fits the original project and the artist IMO. And the 16mm footage was a treat. If his archivist had captured the sessions on VHS or 8mm --- very easy and cheap to do by then --- it would have looked dated. Irony, that. The modern-day B/W sequences were unfortunately crap in their bleached-out appearance.

Wildflowers was on regular rotation for me back then. If I can get a copy of the 2015 LP or the 2020 release I will.

I recall when it came out being aware this was Petty's "adult" album and likely his magnum opus. He was always a guy sort of out of time and yet just wonderfully there. Still miss him.
