motion detctor LED outside lamp

so far I've ordered 2 from Beezee. Both failed after a few days.
Just looking for something small that will throw off enough light if I arrive home at 2am that I don't stumble down the stairs.
Don't want to leave on all night.

Any suggestions? Doesn't have to be Beezee

I guess they're all a bit of a crapshoot, but these have been working fine since I put them up around September 23rd. [www.amazon.com]

Dies in a couple days.
5 years ago I bought another, Hallomall, no longer available.
Still working pretty well. Wish I had another.

If the lamp is exposed to the sunlight a good part of the day you might want to take a look at this solar one. The solar panel can be placed anywhere within 16' of the light. I have had one for over 2 1/2 years and it still works quite well. Puts out a fair amount of light when it comes on.

I ordered one of these a year and a half ago from China. Still running like a champ.

I've got the same LEDs in your OP in the front of my house, for the same reason you got them and they have worked well so far. I also Have Litom LEDs in my back yard and deck for about 2 years and they have been great. My model isn't made anymore but there are plenty of others:

I have a 4 of the little litoms too, got 9/2019 -- 4 for $16.

3 were outside nailed to the fence for a year, then packed away when we moved. Put on new fence outside since April this year... still perfect.

check the litom web site, some deals, and free shipping.

I just bought 2 sets of these: [litom.com]

ymmv, but I decided the 'motion detector' is the weak component of these.
I went with a dusk-to-dawn LED 26W 2600lm 5K wall mount @ my
back door. imho, it doesn't cost that much to run every night.
iirc, I paid $25 @ Amz. It failed after 18mos but the seller sent me a new,
improved model in two days! Still running bright for the past two years
Similar one is now $36 from bezosville.

I too bought the cheapo solar LED units.
They work OK but understandably lack the output of the wall mounted
AC device. Mounted on deck stairs for safety purposes.

My garage door motion activated light was put up in 1992 (yes, 29 years ago). It became LED when I screwed in an LED bulb.

Then if the bulb goes out, you replace it and not the whole fixture. The downside? you will likely need a wired outlet.

wiring this would be a pita.
just looking for simple, fast on/off and not too bright.
not security just safety.

IMHO, considering the power consumption from LED bulbs, I just leave them on. I did replace our outdoor fixture bulbs with smart bulbs and set up festive colors for holidays.
