Better than many "kits", but "gorgeous? Not in my book. A bit of a Frankenstein in proportions and fittings.

It's hard to judge proportions from one pic and that angle, but I like it a lot.

The hicky on th hood could have been much better done.

It clashes with the rest of the car.

But otherwise, it's great looking and a beautiful color, too.

I agree. Looks like it was designed by committee. The outsized hood scoop is especially ugly and the rear part of the greenhouse (difficult to see in this photo) seems too small relative to the overall length of the car. Also, why are those humplike rear fenders so gigantic compared to the front fenders?

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

Here’s a 23 minute walk around a kit/repli-car meet in the UK for a pretty good sample of the current state of the “art”.

If I were to get a kit car it would be something like this (I know nothing about kit cars).

Ukulele music I couldn't find anywhere else.
I’ve added some recipes and spiritual thoughts as well.

Sorry, no VW; either a Corvette or custom fab steel.
It's (J6) original design was to replace a C2's body; keeping the original
frame, V8 powertrain, etc.
