Just got my OWC Holiday Wish Book in the mail -- though not yet shown on OWC's main site, big news (well, for me) is that OWC is bringing back the ministack -- it's now called the ministackSTX.

It has four Thunderbolt 4 ports (with one being the upstream to the computer (Mac, Windows, Chrome) or iPad (iPadOS)) and internal spots for both a SATA 2.5 drive as well as an NVMe stick.

So, essentially, it's an OWC enclosure for a 2.5 drive, and for a NVMe drive, with (essentially) a Thunderbolt 4 Hub thrown in.

Im seeing Thunderbolt in the name, which I associate with 40 GB/s... but seems to be limited to 10 GB/s thru the USB C ports?

Am I reading that correctly?

thanks, guess I missed that... maybe my question related to the internal NVMe... If we drop a drive in there can we get faster than 10 GB/s over Tbolt.

Since the single drive case is $90 for 20 GB/s (?)

Prb irrelevant... Im just thinking about the future for me... new iron is at least 4 months away, hopefully at apples next event.
