Speaking of Auto Insurance - Luck be a Lady

The driver of a Nissan Altima walked away from a crash that left the car folded in half with a semi sitting on top of the mangled heap.

A Washington driver is counting her lucky stars after she survived a crash with a semi truck that left her car flattened on Tuesday. According to Washington State Patrol trooper Rocky Oliphant, the driver was hit from behind by the semi truck while traveling on the I-5. When the semi was lifted of the car, the driver was able to exit the vehicle and walk away with only minor injuries.

A little pounding out and some bondo, it will be good as new.

KA-CHING!

Glad she's OK. That is truly freakish, something on the truck's frame
but have hooked on the car's rear to stop it from just plowing over it.

That is crazy. I can’t imagine how anyone survived, let alone walked away, from that. smiley-shocked003

Yeah, but, "cars in the old days were better!"...

Whew... Glad she walked away, rather than having to be shop-vac'ed out of the wreckage.

I'm guessing the insurance adjuster is probably not going to need to inspect it in person before signing off on the pay-out.

Amazing. Obviously the truck was not loaded with anything heavy.
