The incident occurred shortly before 9:15 a.m. on Interstate 5 in Carlsbad

I expect they'd be taking a HARD look at the armored car crew. A little too convenient for a door to "pop open" as far as I'm concerned.

The only reason the two were arrested is because they locked themselves out of their car - which they'd stopped on the freeway so they could gather up the cash.

Can't make this stuff up.

In southern Cali it is not stealing if it is under $950.00. Just ask any retailer.

I wonder what the total dollar amount of the missing money is. The article said it was $1's and $20's. In the pictures I only saw $1's.
