Got in two lifting workouts this week and walked about 10 miles. This upcoming week will be quite a challenge of offsetting the calories about to be consumed.
Still down 26 lbs. Gained 1 or 2 back but I'm still in the zone. As weather gets colder, not sure I can keep up walking 3 miles a day every day and might give myself a break during cold snaps. But walked 7 miles this weekend and will continue to work in walks as practical.
In the last 3 weeks we went to a wedding and an associated vacation in Key West. And then spent a long weekend with a group of friends. Now I'm 5 lbs. higher during Thanksgiving week. Gonna try my best to control my eating today, Wed and Friday to try to get away with only another pound or so from Thanksgiving. Then back to it. Until the next party in 2 weeks...Ugh... But, still exercising every day.
Lost 10 lbs since the last time I was on this thread. Walking and Intermittent Fasting (IF). Currently doing 16/8. 16 hours no eating and 8 hours time frame to eat. Weight didn’t start going down until I started IF 2 months ago.
For what it's worth, this simple doctor's advice (kidney specialist) has worked for me.
Eat less meat.
Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Exercise.
I said goodbye to bacon and egg breakfasts and generally eat meat once a day. But I still allow myself lots of indulgences here and there; hardly torturing myself.
