Before anyone else says it, I guess they didn’t have any left over from last year to put out, either.

Let the fruitcake hating begin. I know you want to.

We never eat fruitcake because it has rum,
And one little slice puts a man on the bum.
Oh, can you imagine the pitiful sight
Of a man eating fruitcake until he gets tight?

Away, away, with rum, by gum,
Rum by gum, rum by gum
Away, away, with rum, by gum,
The song of the Temperance Union.

A man who eats fruitcake lives a terrible life.
He’s mean to his children and beats on his wife.
A man who eats fruitcake dies a terrible death,
With the odor of raisins and rum on his breath!

Away, away, with rum, by gum,
Rum by gum, rum by gum
Away, away, with rum, by gum,
The song of the Temperance Union.

But you got your glitter, right? Can't use your stripper pole without the glitter.

This is the best fruitcake that money can buy.

When I was a kid, I visited their place a few times, right between the WV border and the Harry Byrd Highway.

Maybe their "About Us" page of their website hasn't been updated in a while, and the renovations were completed.

Best fruit cake I’ve ever had was one I made where all the fruits were organic dried fruits including some “exotic” tropical fruit mango star fruit etc. followed my moms professional approach of wrapping it up in used sheets and soaking it with Brandy

Look up Alton Browns "Free Range Fruitcake" recipe...

Make a few of 'em... baste every other day to every few days with the alcohol of your choice until Christmas.
Very good!

You should try The Famous Aunt Buelah's
Aunt Beulah's

I used to HATE fruitcake until this revelatory package from above appeared on my doorstep over a decade ago. Well, maybe not from above. Maybe just the mailman. But it really did open my eyes to how the art form is supposed to taste.

Those look very yummy.
I notice they also have Buckeyes candy. I have a friend who is from Ohio and she makes those for Christmas. I wonder if I will get some this year.
