Did y'all eat your 3.4 pound Reese's PB Cup pie?

Ours is 25% consumed.

The chocolate is too hard/thick and it cracked on the first cut.

And it is really, really rich.

Only one person (my 5 YO niece) had any on Thanksgiving. The rest of us stuck with the traditional pie. I had a tiny slice the next day.

You can see how thick the chocolate is in the pic. It varies around the pie, but it's almost an inch thick at that point.

No way am I allowing that in my home.
I'd be in the hospital for complications of eating it all over the course of 20 minutes.

I read one story that says the product information states the package contains 48 servings.

Does the box have a suggestion on how to cut it into that many servings so it doesn't fracture into crumble?

Was that room temp or out of the fridge? Maybe try warming it up ever so slightly in the microwave first to ease the cutting.

Knife dipped in very hot water can do better cutting hard chocolate like that.

Zoinks! That does look a little difficult to cut, and subsequently, to eat.

(I'm not all that attracted to sweet stuff. Now, if that were a box of nachos...)

As the person who originally posted this deal, it's sad to say that for some reason, my transaction, even though accepted, never finally went through. This will always be the the Big One that got away in my holiday memories.

I am happy for those who succeeded.

we put a massive dent in our 9" InstaPot cheesecake though. The key is you need a cake transport tupperware so they don't absorb weird flavors from the fridge. All fats are flavor/smell magnets unless wrapped properly.

I'd be curious to get your recipe for that. I tried making an IP cheesecake, and although it wasn't terrible, it just wasn't great either -- nowhere near as good as a regular no-bake, for comparison. I'm not sure if it was because one of my ingredients was "off", or just the way the IP cooks a cheesecake.
