Sorry for your loss.

She had a life full of adventure. I’m sure she had many stories to tell.

We’re never ready to lose our parents. They were there at the beginning of our lives and we wished they would be there till the end.

God bless your mom. May she Rest In Peace.

Condolences...

Back when I was dabbling in graphic design, i remember having to layout, pen, and design a simple obituary when my Mom passed and get they printed at a printer I have used for decades.

Remembering how rough something like that can be - you did a wonderful job.

Of course she lived life to the fullest-tramping about the world with a backpack and a camera-she's from Michigan!

I know you grieve as you and your family will miss her, but, with such an incredibly full life, the celebration should make New Years Eve look like a tea party...

God bless her, and you too, O, and may she rest in peace-but I doubt she's resting. She's got her backpack on with her camera and is climbing up Olympus Mons!

So sorry for your loss, we are honored that you have shared her memory with us. Knowing your persona, only a woman of great substance and spark could have raised such a son.

Sorry for your loss.

But clearly a life well-lived.

Wish I had done a fraction of what she did in her amazing life.

Sounds like she was quite a woman, and she is lucky to have a son to write as well about her. Have you considered a biography, with her photographs of course?

Sorry to hear of your loss - and the human race's - Ombligo! God, what a woman! Sounds like she was without question, YOUR greatest blessing!

The passing of one's mother is for many of us a shattering moment, the loss of someone who is truly irreplaceable. I'm sure those of us who have experienced the same can only echo your sentiments and your sense of loss - and acknowledge your blessing.

RIP, Louise Thompson!

Sounds like she had a very good life. But it's never easy to see a loved one go. My sympathy.
