a year laters, kids still love theirs, made them get the snap on silicon cases. Wish I paid $750 tho...

Backorders are a problem for smaller Apple Authorized Retailers, especially if it's not a base model.
B&H had my M1 16/512 mini in stock, so it shipped right away.
But I've ordered several things from them that weren't in stock, and they took a very long time.
They didn't bill until the items shipped, so I was happy with that.
But once you get the CTO you want, the wait's in the rearview.
At least that's how I roll.

My M1 16" on order is just the stock configuration at the lowest M1 16" price point, so I'm expecting sooner rather than later, but sooner is fading into later quickly now.
