Ok, last minute gift ideas. Anyone that may be into Bubble / Boba Tea do you have any recommendations for simple Thai Iced Tea kits (or not) with boba?

I find it to be a hassle making it. It is pricey to buy it at a Boba joint. Then I saw some being sold in the frozen section of Costco. All I had to do was open the packet, put it in whatever liquid I wanted and I was good to go.

When I've made Thai iced tea in the past: boil the proper black tea bought at a Thai store with an eye-opening amount of sugar. Let cool, blend with heavy cream or sweetened condensed milk, or a combo.

Why don't they drink a 7-11 64oz Double Gulp of Coke like me and my friends did? Less calories, and way cheaper too. Yes, regular sugared soft drinks contain less calories than boba Thai tea.

I love Thai tea. But I usually get it without boba. There's a place near where I used to live that had all kinds of tea drinks, and ice cream. Bobs with ice cream is different. It's much more chewy.

My wife would have serious problems with this topic title, mainly because she is from Taiwan, where this beverage originated (as opposed to Thailand)...

Asian food stores, if existing in your area, should have all you need.
